Tammera Nauts, LCSW, LAC

Executive Director

Tammera is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in addiction treatment, behavioral health, and trauma treatment. Tammera brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the RCM team. She has lived in Montana for more than 20 years. Ms. Nauts grounds all programming in the current and “best practice” evidence based interventions. She enjoys hiking, bicycling, traveling of any sort, Mandala painting, reading and movies.

 

Education:

Dr. Daniel Nauts, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Nauts has more than 28 years in treating addiction and mental health disorders.  An Internist by training, Dr. Nauts’ passion for the addiction and mental health fields flourished when asked to put together an addiction treatment program in Bellingham, WA for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. Dr. Nauts is certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). In Montana, he is a respected leader in the field of substance use and co-ocurring disorders. When he is not working at Recovery Center Missoula, you may find him fly fishing or enjoying Montana’s outdoors.

Nurse Manager

Susan is the RN Nurse Manager for the RCM treatment program. Susan has over 30 years of experience caring for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. She continues to be inspired by her patients and their families who are in recovery. Susan likes to spend time outdoors hiking the hills and floating the rivers of western Montana. She enjoys all Missoula has to offer.

KressEric200x300Dr. Eric Kress, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Eric Kress is a board certified Family Medicine physician practicing medicine since 1987. Dr. Kress was the medical director for a local hospital addiction treatment program 1999-2001. In his spare time, you may find Dr. Kress serving as the medical director for the Missoula Marathon, teaching at the University Of Utah, spending time with his wife Linda, skiing, cycling, golf, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Lead Therapist

Patrick is a licensed and certified counselor in addiction and mental health treatment. He supports a client’s recovery process through the utilization of evidence based practices such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness/Relaxation interventions. Patrick works collaboratively with the medical and therapeutic staff to create an individualized program around a client’s specific needs. He has specialized in addiction treatment since 2005. Patrick also brings creativity to the program with his experience using music to connect with patients and integration into the recovery program.

Therapist

Melissa is a Licensed Addiction Counselor with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. She has worked in helping professions for the last fifteen years, the addiction field since 2009. Melissa utilizes a strength based model when supporting clients into treatment. She skillfully helps patients through the admission process with a strong sense of compassion and caring. Having lived all over Montana, she settled in Missoula in 1999. She likes to make art from recycled materials, travel, hike, camp, and spend weekends relaxing at Flathead Lake with her family and dogs.

Therapist

Michelle is currently completing the Master’s program in Social Work at the University of Montana, and is a Licensed Addiction Counselor who has worked with individuals with substance use disorders in various capacities since 1999. She is passionate in working with individuals to help them discover, hone and focus their personal strengths and skills to forge a happy, healthy and fulfilling life for themselves. Michelle is trained in and utilizes multiple  evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialect Behavioral Therapy, and enjoys forging therapeutic relationships with patients grounded in respect and care for each individual with whom she works. In her free time, Michelle enjoys hiking, swimming, horseback riding and reading.

Therapist

Lily is a Licensed Addiction Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has worked for Western Montana Mental Health Center since 2005, beginning in the ACT program. Lily moved to Missoula to attend the bachelors program at the University of Montana in 2001. She implements narrative therapy with strength based approach, along with DBT skills development. In her spare time Lily enjoys reading, biking, being outdoors and watching her twin boys play competitive sports.

Therapist

Todd is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Recovery Center Missoula especially in dealing with opiate addiction, criminal thinking, relapse prevention, and continuing care. Todd is inspired each day by helping people find a new way of life. When not working with others at the Recovery Center Missoula he enjoys spending time camping, fishing, and time with his family.
